While we love talking about fashion we adore, there are times when it is necessary to talk about the outfits we HATE! This is a warning to all of you fashionistas, DON'T wear or replicate these outfits!
We aren't quite sure where to start with Sarah Silverman's outfit...we could start with how terribly outdated her jean skirt is, or maybe with her too-casual-for-a-red carpet hoodie? Well no matter where we begin it is ALL bad! Maybe the funny lady was making another joke...?
We can't be too hard on Jamie Chung, after all, it's not the WHOLE outfit that's bad...only a few parts. Let's start with the good: her hair is pulled up into a stylish bun & looks adorable, her make-up is natural but has a pop of color on the lips, and the shoes go perfectly with the platform trend. Now, on to the bad. The mix of the leather dress & collared shirt/tie is just too "school girl" for the red carpet. If she were to lose the shirt and just have the dress, this outfit would not have landed her on our Fashion Don't list.
Do we really even need to explain why Kelis is on this list?!
To keep it short & sweet, David Hasselhoff is on this list because it looks like an English flag threw up on him. That is all that needs to be said!
Well those were the worst of the worst this week, leave a comment telling us what you think, we'd love to hear your opinions!

Spring 2011 Fashion Trends
This Spring we are seeing many retro fashion trends coming back into style! We are revisiting 70's inspired frocks, natural earth tones, lace and denim, as well as bright bold colors and accessories. We have highlighted four of this spring's biggest trends to watch out for!
Nudes and Earth-tones
These barely there tones came around in 2010 and are still going strong. The trend is to have all nude pieces in the outfit. They are classic and look beautiful on almost every skin tone. If you are worried about being washed out, wear a brighter color on top (like black or red) to balance it out. Pair these shades with a bold hairstyle to give it a little edge.
Bright Citrus Colors
Eclectic colors and styles have made their way onto the 2011 Fashion runway. Pairing bold colors together along with neutral platforms is a great way to wear this style! If your hesitant about wearing such a bold look, start smaller and try little pieces first like bright colored shoes or a handbag. This look is easy to pull off and will definitely put you in the mood for the summer!
70's Inspired
Who would have thought the 70's style would be back so soon? It seems like just a few years ago we were in the era of high-waisted flared denim and bright patterns. Nonetheless we have returned to this classic style of bright colors and patterns. This trend also goes along with platform heels which we have previously featured. There are multiple ways to get this look, you just need to have some fun mixing and matching colors and patterns!

Extreme denim has also made its return into the fashion world! This trend pairs denim on top of denim to create a casual/chic look. You can either try a denim button up with high waisted jeans, as shown above, or you can try pairing a denim jacket or blazer with a flowy dress. Denim looks great with florals and bright colors. To complete the look try it with our key spring fashion item, platform shoes!

Spring Trend Guide: Shoes
Spring is almost here and we couldn't be more excited! It's time to put away those Winter coats and pull out your Spring clothes! Don't have any of this Spring's trendy clothes, shoes, or accessories? No problem, because now you can use our Spring Trend Guide to help you decide on what to get! Let's start with shoes!
This Spring/Summer we will be seeing a lot of platforms. From slightly high to dangerously high. Here are a few of our favorites!
These lovely heels are by the brilliantly talented Jeffrey Campbell. Although they are dangerously tall, they are also insanely beautiful and will complete ANY Spring outfit you throw on! They come in black and navy blue as well as the displayed cheetah print. We found these wedge-tastic platforms here: http://www.freepeople.com/shoes-clogs-and-platforms/daisy-wedge-platform/

Another platform we are loving is this floral wedge again by Jeffrey Campbell. Not only do they go along with the platform trend, but the floral one as well. These tall yet extremely comfy wedges will show off your perfectly manicured toes and will accentuate your sun-kissed legs! We found these beauties here: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/jeffrey-campbell-swansong-wedge-sandal/3148642?origin=category&siteId=J84DHJLQkR4-02YHOIn_bKK5a5X9bVB5_g
These dangerously high platforms are by Mr. Christian Louboutin himself. Christian Louboutin is known for making some of the most incredible, fashion forward shoes in the world and he definitely lives up to that reputation with these sky high heels. These heels are best worn at nights, they are a bit too drastic for the day. We found these here: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod117350125&parentId=cat37660731&masterId=cat5130731&index=23&cmCat=cat000000cat000141cat000149cat000226cat5130731cat37660731
Another huge trend for Spring is the wedge. From cork to wood, these shoes are a perfect fit to all the sunny days we'll be seeing! Here are some of our picks.
Here is another fashionable shoe by Christian Louboutin. These wedges are so cute and so wearable, we can't help but love them! We are already imagining all the cute outfits these shoes will be worn with! You can buy them here: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod118590151&parentId=cat37660731&masterId=cat5130731&index=4&cmCat=cat000000cat000141cat000149cat000226cat5130731cat37660731
Normally, wedges are more casual shoes that are worn during the day, but these Cole Haan wedges can easily be worn from day to night! They have a T-Strap look that flatters every foot and we simply can't get enough of them. We found them here: http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod120170014&parentId=cat15490733&masterId=cat13030734&index=55&cmCat=cat000000cat000141cat13030734cat15490733
Now, if you're not much of a heel person, this next trend might better suit your taste. It is the nautical trend, or as we like to call them, boat shoes! Boat shoes come in all sorts of colors and are made by all sorts of brands. Our personal favorite is the original, Sperry Top-Sider.
These Sperrys have a white finish that is fresh and clean. These can be worn with shorts, skirts, jeans, or even dresses! Besides being adorable and fashionable, they are comfortable as well.
If you are looking for a more authentic look, you might prefer these instead:
Both of these pairs as well as others can be found on www.sperrytopsider.com
These are just a few of our favorite Spring shoe trends, leave a comment telling us yours!

Fashion of the 2011 Academy Awards
The Academy Awards is the biggest award show of the year, and one of fashion's biggest nights. The red carpet is filled with celebrities showing off their incredible fashion sense, or lack there of. We have for you the 5 Best and Worst dressed celebrities from this years Oscars.
BEST
Actress Natalie Portman starts us out with number five on our list.
This Best Actress winner is glowing in a drapey Rodarte gown. The beautiful burgundy compliments her skin tone, while the cut of the dress is flattering on a pregnant body. Although her glow may be partially due to her pregnancy, she looks fabulous! Not many women can rock the preggers look on the red carpet!
Our fourth place winner for best dressed is Penelope Cruz.
This red-hot starlet dazzles in a deep red L'Wren Scott gown. Although she is looking a little "busty" to say the least, she looks amazing for having a baby just a few weeks ago!
Hilary Swank brings us in at number three on our list.
This award-winning beauty arrived in a sparkling Gucci gown. She chose to have her hair up and out of her face in order to accentuate the beautiful gown. She looks elegant and glowing, as always.
Our second best dressed celebrity is Mila Kunis.
The Black Swan star looked absolutely gorgeous in her sheer Elie Saab lace gown. Mila usually goes for a more edgy look, but this year she traded in for soft hair and makeup to complete an elegant look. We think this was the perfect choice Mila!
Last but certainly not least, we have Miss Berry as our number one best dressed!
Halle Berry could certainly be considered a red carpet hall-of-famer. She nails it yet again in her sequined Marchesa gown. She continues with the seasons trend of natural tones and wispy romantic styles. This look definitely gets an A+!
WORST
Reese Witherspoon disappoints in Giorgio Armani.
We are rarely unimpressed with this Starlet's fashion choices, but this year, that is exactly how we felt. This dress seems too plain and honestly, a little out of style. It seems like something you would see at a high school prom a few years ago. Sorry Reese, better luck next time.
Scarlett Johansson in Dolce and Gabbana brings us to number four.
This sultry actress is lacking the heat in this plum lace gown. The color and the high neckline combine to give a matronly look. Although the dress kind of shows off her figure, we are simply underwhelmed!
The Oscar host Anne Hathaway didn't do much better...
Seen in her Valentino Coture gown, Anne Hathaway seems to have missed the mark. The bright red-orange color of the dress is too much with her red lipstick and makeup. Not to mention the extra fabric on the bottom of the dress is just weird. Overall this definitely gets a thumbs down for Anne.
Nicole Kidman comes in at spot number two.
This Christian Dior gown is just all wrong for the Australian actress who was featured as best dressed on our previous blog at the Grammys! How can you go from something so right, to something so wrong? Nicole chose to wear white (yet again) and left us feeling very unsatisfied. The color is wrong, the fit is wrong, and to be honest the dress is just ugly. Sorry Nicole, but we would love to see you in some color for a change!
And our worst dressed celebrity goes to no one else but Helena Bonham Carter.
This outfit looks like a trainwreck and belongs nowhere near the Academy Awards red carpet. Now we understand that everyone was expecting this, even HBC herself, who was expecting a "catastrophe"of an outfit. And although her unique and eccentric style showed through, this can be labeled nothing more than the worst dressed of the 2011 Oscars. And that, I feel, she might be proud of.
That wraps it up for our 5 Best and 5 Worst dressed of the Academy Awards! We hope you enjoyed our recap and check in with us next week to see what Fashion trends we will be highlighting next!
