Fashion at the Grammys

This year's Grammy Awards was filled with fashion.  From beautiful women draped in gowns to creative entertainers incubating in eggs.  We decided to break the night down for you with our 5 Best and 5 Worst dressed celebrities.



BEST


Number five on our list is the fabulous Jennifer Lopez.

Jennifer completely shocked us when we saw her!  Can you believe she had twins not too long ago?!  But on to the dress...she is wearing an Emilio Pucci silver mini with Christian Louboutin heals.  You would think that a woman over the age of 29 wouldn't be able to pull this short of a dress off, but Jennifer puts ALL 20-year-olds to shame!  We are so glad Jenny is back from the block!

Coming in fourth is "The Body," Heidi Klum.

Once again, being the veteran Best Dressed she is, Heidi looks amazing.  She has chosen a dress that flatters her figure (yet, what dress wouldn't look good on her?!) and complements her beautiful olive skin tone.  She pulled her hair back into a loose bun in order to keep the attention on her amazing gown.  Ah, she is perfection!

Next up we have Glee gal Lea Michele also wearing Emilio Pucci.

Lea just looks stunning!  She chose a gown that hangs perfectly on her and also shows off her gams!  We are loving the high platforms almost as much as the dress itself.  What also adds to this outfit is her make-up.  She kept it pretty simply in the eyes and then gave it a pop of color with her beautiful fuchsia lipstick!  Lea has once again showed us her amazing fashion.

Coming in as our second place winner is Mrs. Keith Urban herself, Nicole Kidman.

Nicole has completely won us over in this body hugging dress.  She looks glamorous without trying too hard.  This mermaid silhouette completely flatters her figure and the colors show off her beautiful complexion.  We are loving her long, flowy locks as well.  It gives her that relaxed look she wears so well.  Way to go Nicole!


Our number one Best Dressed goes to a rookie, Miss Naya Rivera.

Naya looks absolutely stunning.  Normally these kind of "fishtail" dresses really aren't that great, but this one is perfect.  It's not too short in the front and also not too long in the back.  It's simple enough on top that the fishtail actually makes the dress what it is.  We are LOVING the way it falls so perfectly in the front and how simple she kept her make-up, hair, and shoes!  She couldn't have done ANYTHING to make this more perfect than it already is.



 WORST


Coming in at number five on our Worst Dressed list is Rihanna.

Normally, we LOVE Rihanna's daring & edgy fashion sense, but this time it seems a little too risque for us.  It almost looks as if she's wearing some sort of unraveled Swiffer duster!  We get that it's supposed to be a sexy dress, but this basically leaves nothing to the imagination!  Common RiRi, you can do better than that!

Next up we have the definition of creativity, Lady Gaga.

Now, we understand this is creativity at its best (which is why she is #4 & not the WORST), but really?  She looks like a huge dinosaur egg being carried by creepy people wearing rubber suits!  Not only that, but we really wanted to see what she was wearing!  Bad Lady Gaga...bad.

Coming in third place is not one, not two, but THREE men!

We have here Mr. Sean Combs, Usher, and Lenny Kravitz.  We'll start with "Diddy," he is completely under-dressed and it's all because of that silly jacket!  If he would have just thrown on a nice suit jacket and some sort of tie, he'd look fine!  Now onto Usher, the shoes...need we say more?  What are those anyways...ankle braces?  The shoes seem to be the only real major problem, yet they are so ugly they have ruined his WHOLE look.  Lastly we have Lenny Kravitz wearing some sort of carcass on his back.  However, I must say, we were not surprised when we saw his look...he always looks a little grungy (and not the good, Johnny Depp kind of grungy).

Our second place has to go to Katy Perry.

It seems she would fit more appropriately on the Victoria's Secret catwalk rather than on the Grammy's red carpet.  What is with the wings...the bra top...the whole bottom half of the dress?!  There is no part of her look (besides her head) that looks good.  We are very disappointed with this California Gurl's look.

And finally, our Worst Dressed winner is Ciara.

This outfit is just all wrong.  From the weird triangle collar to the black heels.  The heels are WAY too edgy for this kind of dress!  There's just nothing we can say but, "YUCK!"
