Fashion at the 2011 ACM Awards

Normally with awards shows we give you our 5 Best & 5 Worst looks of the night, however, this year's Academy of Country Music Awards failed us.  Out of all the attendees, we simply could NOT find even one outfit we absolutely loved.  We did, however, come across many we hated (we narrowed it down to the 5 worst)!  Here are our Top 5 Worst Outfits of the night:

In our number 5 spot is a new comer to the Worst list, Carrie Underwood.  Ms. Underwood is usually very fashionable, but this dress was anything but.  We would actually love this dress, if it weren't for the awkward cinching of the waist (placed too low) and the overkill on the beading at the hips.  Besides those two MAJOR problems, we probably would have loved this look!

Next up we have Julianne Hough wearing what seems to an orange, floral printed curtain.  This dress is just all wrong, the ONLY thing we don't hate about it is the color.  The way it is cut reminds us of a baby's bib, and the orange floral print blends in far too much with the overall dress color.  This is a very disappointing outfit for a usually well dressed woman.

At number 3 we have the female lead singer of Steel Magnolia wearing a purple halter dress.  We just don't understand the necessity of the frilly center piece.  To us it simple looks like she is wearing a really long piece of lettuce down the center of her dress.  Not a good look for anyone...

Here we will be killing 2 birds with one stone...both Mr. and Mrs. Keith Urban are tied for our number 2 worst dressed.  We will start with Nicole...her dress is just all wrong, from the awkward fur vest to the leather snakeskin dress it is just all a mess.  As for Keith, his actual outfit isn't bad, it's his bright orange skin we have a problem with.  Is it just us, or is he starting to look like Snooki?

And our worst dressed of the night has to be Mr. Jason Aldean.  From the big hoop earings to the painfully shiny jacket, he couldn't have done worse.  Not to mention that his pants (are those studs all down the sides?!) don't even come close to complementing his "out there" jacket.  Maybe if he had worn something much more subtle on bottom we wouldn't be so disgusted with the jacket...but then again, probably not.
